Learning from success

As a company we know that not only outward transparency, but also inward transparency play an ever more important role. The constantly growing demands on products and logistics have long not been coming only from areas of quality and quantity - information transparency and digital communication are in demand. Groz-Beckert stands at its customers' side as a reliable networking partner on the path to Industry 4.0. You benefit not only from Groz-Beckerts' portfolio of services, but also from our experience in cooperations undertaken with other partners. In this issue we are going to tell the story of a Chinese mechanical-engineering cooperation partner in the Carding field, and give you some insights into the automated dispensing system of a Portuguese hosiery manufacturer.

From wood and steel to lightweight construction

Alternative lightweight structures have been in use in the automotive sector for decades. Nonwovens play a key role here. Yet questions of cost, weight and comfort raise the demands placed on future products to another level. You can discover the benefits of using GEBECON® and EcoStar® needles for manufacturers of nonwovens for the automotive industry in this issue.

Increasing demands on quality for traditional textiles

A similar development can also be observed in the manufacture of high-quality and traditionally made sewed goods. Many different sewing operations and thereby different stitch types are used in jeans making: You can also find out how the SAN® 6 special application needle guarantees perfect, durable stitches in this issue.

Higher demands placed on end products also raise the requirements placed on machine needles, precision parts and systems. Innovative materials, such as abrasive fibers, play a leading role in the manufacture of fabrics. The surface of the jacquard heald is thus of major significance. No less demanding then are the quality requirements placed on inset mail, which is exposed to a wide range of forces in the thread eyes.

Groz-Beckert opens new doors
